This is a nopcommerce plugin target for nopcommerce version 4.02. As the name implies "SqlConsole" this plugin is all about executing SQL queries against SQL database from Client side.

As a store admin we have access to many "Forms" and "Reports" that can be used to insert, update, delete and retrieve data. However, even with that we do not have full access to our database. We are limited to see reports/data that our developers have provided for us. So by using this tool (SqlConsole plugin) any user with admin privilege can access database using SQL query. This plugin gives full access to your database.

This is not limited to be used by Store admin only. Developers also can get benefits by using this plugin. Like if developers have a database update query that needs to be executed against database then they can use this plugin to run their query. Alternatively, they can use this tool to perform some normal database debugging. Things that are done by using SQL management tool can also be done from this plugin.

This plugin is target for store admin and database

There are four components in its UI

1) Query Editor Window

It is the UI component where we write our SQL queries that we want to execute against our database. It has features like query syntax highlighting and showing line numbers.

2) Run Script Button

When we write our SQL query that needs to be executed agenst the database then we use this button to execute our query. This is where query is actually executed so before clicking this button user needs to be sure if query is right and doesn't contain query that may lead to data lost because we cannot stope query execution before we click this button.

3) Result Output section

When we write our SQL query that needs to be executed agenst the database then we use this button to execute our query. This is where query is actually executed so before clicking this button user needs to be sure if query is right and doesn't contain query that may lead to data lost because we cannot stope query execution before we click this button.

4) Contact Button

When we write our SQL query that needs to be executed agenst the database then we use this button to execute our query.
